Sue Jane Taylor
Sue Jane Taylor depicts contemporary Northern landscape in her work. She is no stranger to extreme working environments. She has worked for over 30 years recording the lives of workers in the North Sea oil industry on sites such as Piper Alpha and Piper Bravo Platforms and Sullom Voe and Flotta oil terminals. Her experiences there are recorded in her book Oilwork: North Sea Diaries (Birlinn 2005). Her touring exhibition Beatrice Works 2013 – 2014 examines Scotland’s newest energy frontier – offshore renewables.
Ian Westacott
Ian Westacott is noted for his drawings and etchings relating to historic and venerable trees. His work is quoted as capturing the power in their lines of growth, not just drawings but a portrait gallery of great trees. His work has been widely exhibited throughout Europe and Australia.
